Welcome to this early version of VideoChatHelper.
VideoChatHelper is a video chat service embedding both a direct connection mode (calling friends, being called by friends) and a ChatRoulette mode (being connected to people randomly). The only client available at this time is a Firefox extension.
This is a product in development and you may expect some improvements in the user interface and the connection service.
To use VideoChatHelper in its current state, please follow the instructions below:
Install the Firefox extension from here. Please note the addon only works on Firefox 3.5 or later.
Create an account from here. If you don't do so, you will only be able to run the ChatRoulette mode. Please note that the user name must hold least 3 characters, without any special character, the password must be at least 6 characters long.
Launch Firefox, open the Tools menu in the Firefox menu bar (not the Tools menu in the purple bottom bar), then VideoChatHelper and Preferences and setup your user and password information.
Note that VideoChatHelper only works with Adobe Flash Plugin 10 or later. It won't work on Flash 9.
